In Steve Niles’ sequel to 30 Days of Night, we find Brian Kitka and his son Marcas moving to Brian’s old home town of Barrow, Alaska. Brian takes the local sheriff’s job in order to understand what happened here three years earlier when his brother and family were killed, supposedly by a pack of vampires. Barrow is so far north, that for 30 days of the year, the sun doesn’t shine there. Now Brian has only a few days to learn what he needs to keep the people of Barrow safe, or else there will be another tragedy to cover up.

In part #1, The town of Barrowhas a new sheriff, but an old problem. A very old problem…

Next in part #2, When Wayne Kitka goes to Barrow, Alaska – four days before it goes dark for another winter – to learn the truth about his brother William’s death, he finds that the truth isn’t always easy to come by!

Next in part #3, Barrow goes dark for another long winter’s night, but that’s the least of Kitka’s worries…

Next in part #4, Kitka and his son cope in their own ways with the new dark of winter, and the accompanying onslaught of bloodcurdling terror.

Next in part #5, When winter settles on isolated Barrow, Alaska, it’s there to stay – long, cold, and dark. And when the darkness has teeth that shred and kill, the lives of a new sheriff and his son can be short and filled with terror.

Finally in part #6, As the terror mounts and war builds during Barrow’s long winter, a mysterious third party stands between humans and vampires. Who is it – and who will be standing when the sun finally rises?
