In 2122, The multinational corporation Weyland-Yutani diverted their commercial towing vehicle, The Nostromo, to the moon LV-426. Weyland-Yutani, purporting to answer a possible distress call, secretly wished to secure specimens of a dangerous alien species known as Xenomorphs for study and profit. Tragedy struck the crew.

In 2179, A colony known as Hadley’s Hope — built on LV-426 — was overrun by Xenomorphs. All rescue attempts failed.

Story/Spoilers:
In issue #1A, “Descendant – Part 1”, Scientist Batya Zahn will do just about anything to get her family off the icy moon where they’ve been conducting research on water conservation. But there’s more than glacial springs to find in this forgotten corner of the galaxy. When they discover an extraordinary organism buried in the ice, it won’t take long for tensions to heat up. What is hidden in the snow comes forth in the thaw…and no one will be welcoming this spring.

In 2195, Weyland-Yutani purchased a Talbot Engineering research outpost on the icy moon LV-695 after learning that lead scientist Batya Zahn may have discovered viable samples of the Xenomorph species. Their arrival freed hundreds of Xenomorphs dormant beneath the surface and saw the emergence of a strange, pale-colored Xenomorph. Disaster ensued, resulting in the deaths of nearly every human involved and the loss of WY’s ship, the Boreas, to the moon’s icy depths. The only person to escape was Batya’s teenage daughter, Zasha.

Now the year is 2208. It’s been over a decade since the Boreas was lost, but it hasn’t been forgotten…

In 2195, scientist Batya Zahn discovered Xenomorphs on the icy moon LV-695. Hundreds were freed from the ice, along with a hybrid pale-colored Xenomorph with equally vicious tendencies. Every human on the moon was killed except for Batya’s teenage daughter, Zasha.

Now the year is 2208. Zasha — in disguise as “Cole” — is leading a mission to pull a Weyland-Yutani ship, the Boreas, from the ice on LV-695. In truth, she’s come to recover Dayton, a synth who sacrificed himself to ensure Zasha’s escape thirteen years prior. Going AWOL, she set out for her family’s old base.

Meanwhile, Jun Yutani has arrived to personally ensure the raising of the Boreas. Does he know the dangers lurking below the surface?

Next in issue #3A, “Descendant – Part 3”, Something Wicked Is Coming Their Way… The USCSS Boreas has been infiltrated! A chest-burster is wreaking havoc on base, leaving a trail of gore and eviscerated bodies in its wake. With their numbers dwindling, will the Weyland-Yutani security team be able to track the alien down before it becomes something even more deadly? And even if they do, how will they manage the horrors lurking just outside their walls beyond the ice?

Now the year is 2208. Zasha — in disguise as “Cole” — was leading a mission to pull a Weyland-Yutani ship, the Boreas, from the ice on LV-695. Jun Yutani himself arrived to ensure its success — but he knows more about Cole than he let on.

Then Zasha went AWOL, setting off for her family’s old base to recover Dayton, a synth who sacrificed himself to ensure her escape thirteen years prior. Her WY team is being slaughtered under the ice, and with Xenomorphs crawling all over the base, Zasha was headed for the same fate… until Dayton saved her life once again.

Finally in issue #4A, “Descendant – Part 4”, The Perfect Organism Meets Its Match?! When Xenomorphs crash-landed on moon LV-695, they did what they do best: Slaughter. And…transformed. The native kaiju of this icy rock thought themselves apex predators, but they were no match for Xenomorph fury. Now a hybrid creature has emerged…is this the evolutionary twist that ends Xenomorphs? And will any humans live to tell the tale? Jun Yutani springs his final trap!

Their reunion was cut short by Jun Yutani who revealed that Dayton was once his property — and that Dayton’s past is darker than he’s been letting on.

Meanwhile, Zasha’s team was attempting to raise the Boreas when swarms of Xenomorphs and pale-colored hybrids attacked. As the humans fended off the aliens, the Boreas exploded in the crossfire. The wreckage crashed back into the ice, awakening the huge deadly Winterbeast!
