In 2122, The multinational corporation Weyland-Yutani diverted their commercial towing vehicle, The Nostromo, to the moon LV-426. Weyland-Yutani, purporting to answer a possible distress call, secretly wished to secure specimens of a dangerous alien species known as Xenomorphs for study and profit. Tragedy struck the crew.

In 2179, A colony known as Hadley’s Hope — built on LV-426 — was overrun by Xenomorphs. All rescue attempts failed.

With the Xenomorphs still at large, Space is a more dangerous place than humans ever thought possible. But few are aware of the Xenomorphs’ existence, and those who venture beyond the stars often do so without knowledge of the grisly destruction that awaits them…

However, to ensure their safety, they are also given a mobile force-field that prevents any chance of death. It’s all very controlled with very little danger, …until things go horribly wrong.

The only way the majority of the Forward’s crew escaped was by quarantining a section of the ship — and abandoning the people contained therein…

“Utopia” – Part 3”
Writers: Collin Kelly & Jackson Lanzing. Artist: Michael Dowling. Colorist: Chris Sotomayor. Letterer: VC’s Clayton Cowles.

Previously in “Utopia”, The Forward, a socialist vessel belonging to the Union of Progressive Peoples, is overrun. For decades, they’d lived in fear of a Xenomorph they’d trapped in a section of their ship — along with the crew contained within. Finally abandoning their ideals of peace, the people voted to wake the soldiers in cryosleep aboard the Forward to deal with the Alien threat once and for all. The military regime that followed only succeeded in unleashing a Xenomorph infestation that overtook the ship. To save the remaining citizens, the synthetic Siostra secretly murdered the military leader and sequestered the survivors in the last safe section of the ship: Raion Marx.

“Gear in the Machine”
Writer: Cody Ziglar. Artist: Claire Roe. Colorist: Jordie Bellaire. Letterer: VC’s Clayton Cowles.

Onboard the Weyland-Yutani frigate Philoctetes, a medical team who specializes in removing chestbursters from impregnated human hosts discovers that one of the host’s cryopods has malfunctioned and that an Xenomorph has been set loose on the ship.

Writers: Collin Kelly & Jackson Lanzing. Artist: Michael Dowling. Colorist: Chris Sotomayor. Letterer: VC’s Clayton Cowles.

Previously in “Utopia”, The Forward, a socialist vessel belonging to the Union of Progressive Peoples, has fallen to the Xenomorphs. Generations ago, they accidentally let one onto their ship while trying to rescue a stranded Weyland-Yutani vessel. The people tried to contain the creature. Then they tried to eradicate it, only to find it had reproduced using trapped crew members as hosts for its eggs. The people instituted a military regime to fight the infestation, but in the end, the regime failed. Through it all, the synthetic Siostra cared for and facilitated the will of the people — until mercy compelled her to jettison them into space, saving them from a worse fate. Now, Siostra stands alone…
