This 1995 mini-series from Dark Horse returns readers to the world of Ryushi, site of 1990’s epic Aliens Vs. Predator saga. In this new series, soldiers answer a distress call from the last remaining inhabitant of Ryushi and make their way toward the planet. Although they are unaware of the events that transpired there before, they are cautious nonetheless since they suspect Aliens are involved.
When they land on the planet’s surface, however, they are ill-prepared for what they find. Not only are Aliens lying in wait for them, but Ryushi is also the unwilling home to the alien hunters known as Predators. The Predators’ ship had crashed upon the planet earlier, and ever since they had been fighting a deadly duel against the Aliens who had overrun the planet. Naturally, the soldiers discover the true nature of the situation they have walked into only when they are squarely trapped between these two warring races…
Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, The violent clash of Alien against Predator left the planet Ryushi a desolate wasteland. But now, years later, a mysterious alien beacon beams a distress signal from the supposedly abandoned world. When Marine ship “Brilliant” responds to the call for aid, they step neck deep into disaster…
Finally in issue #2, It’s hard enough going toe-to-toe with the meanest Aliens in the galaxy, even for the toughest Marine unit around. But now a powerful hunting party of Predators is getting involved, and the only solution to this dilemma will push the Marines to their limits…
