Description
Ash Comics Lot w/ Bonus Signed Issue #1 & Mini-Comic
Issue #1 Signed & Dated by Joe Quesada & Jimmy Palmiotti.
Issues #1 & 3 are signed by Joe Quesada.
Also includes Wizard Mini-Comic #4 Featuring Ash.
Starring Quesada and Palmiotti’s firefighter superhero.
Ash is the super-hero alter-ego of fictional firefighter Ashley Quinn. Ash was “born” from a mysterious incident when Ashley was trapped inside a burning building and hidden inside was a regeneration chamber from the future. Ash has the ability to use various flame-based weapons, including blades that can be made from fire by his gauntlets. He can also absorb and control flames and fire, has superhuman strength and durability. He draws his power from flames and fire inside his body which can reach temperatures of 1260 degrees Fahrenheit.
Joe Quesada and Jimmy Palmiotti’s Ash has one of the more complicated origin stories in comics. The title character is Ashley Quinn, a fireman who “probably died” while saving a child from a burning building. He was revived, however, by the unexpected intervention of a futuristic warrior named Gunther DelSandiago. Gunther (“Gun”) had been leader of the few human survivors in the Devolutionary War. Their enemy was Adam – an alien who arrived on Earth in Quinn’s time and had been conducting genetic experiments on the populace that would eventually result in the creation of a new race. A century later, this race would enslave and annihilate mankind. Gun’s final plan was to stop this by changing the past. Accordingly, he sent a regenerative unit back into the past which to heal Ashley, giving him power over fire, and endowing him with a mission to save the future from Adam.
