Steven Engelhart, Marshall Rogers, and Terry Austin, who together created a memorable run-on Detective Comics, reunite to craft another Batman tale in this miniseries that also sees the return of an old love interest for Bruce Wayne, Silver St. Cloud. In addition to dealing with Two-Face and the Scarecrow and the Joker’s bid to become the governor, Batman also must confront his feelings for a woman he once passionately loved and who also happens to know about his dual identity…

Stories/Spoilers
In issue #1, The Joker enters a gubernatorial election using the campaign slogan “Vote for me or I’ll kill you!” Will it persuade voters? Plus, Bruce Wayne’s old love interest Silver St. Cloud returns, as does Two-Face and the Scarecrow!

Next in issue #2, Scarecrow manages to overcome Batman in the one location where he’s most vulnerable: the Batcave! Meanwhile, the Bruce Wayne/Silver St. Cloud relationship heats up!

Next in issue #3, Bruce Wayne’s relationship with Silver St. Cloud deepens, and an old, forgotten Batman foe with an eye toward doubling the Gotham Guardian’s misery returns!

Next in issue #4, Batman and Silver St. Cloud had their hands full dealing with the Joker’s bid for mayor…and things will only get worse when they face the Scarecrow!

Next in issue #5, Silver St. Cloud has been abducted by the Joker so that her boyfriend, Evan Gregory, will drop out of the Gotham gubernatorial race. Little does the Joker know that Silver and Gregory have separated, so Gregory is not the one he’ll have to deal with…

Finally in issue #6, Batman has traced the Joker to a decaying mansion that serves as the shelter for a special hostage: Silver St. Cloud! Unfortunately for the Dark Knight, the mansion is also a funhouse loaded with death traps! Can he rescue Silver and prevent the Joker from winning the election?
