Self-published by Tonyefa Oyake, Bionic Dog is the story of KD, Agent 86 of the McNash & Boyd Intelligence Agency and the missions he is sent to accomplish. Bio-engineered from dog and human DNA, KD’s seemingly unending supply of novelty grenades (glue, knockout gas, tornado) and highly trained mind are all he has in a world that has trouble taking him seriously.

Tonyefa Oyake’s style is crisp and kenetic and his stories are brimming with an unbridled enthusiasm and imagination. All presented in Glorious Black & White! Awesome!!

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, Agent 86, The Bionic Dog, KD; was on a mission for a private intelligence agency, McNash and Boyd Central, to learn if the Ghengis Cartel were developing some sort of weapon at a secret installation in the desert. KD got in, but the mission fell to pieces when KD was found out! On the run from a failed assignment, KD found refuge at Oasis – 1, a research facility in the middle of the desert. After a little rest KD will be taken to the border by the facility’s head scientist, Dr. Miles Henry, where a fellow agent will be waiting to meet him. Simple enough? Not when forces beyond the Bionic Dog’s control are working to hinder his progress!

Finally in issue #2, With McNash and Boyd Central wanting to retrieve their agent –KD and the Ghengis Cartel sending a special team to capture the spy-KD, the Bionic Dog finds his abilities tested to the limits as Oasis turns into a nightmare. And if that were not bad enough how about adding that Dr. Miles Henry isn’t what he seems to be… and not in a good way. Will Agent 86, KD, be able to live up to all the hype of being the incredible Bionic Dog?!
