One of the most beautiful artistic achievements in comics presented in Prestige Format! Telling the richly metaphorical tale of Blood, a young vampire, Blood a Tale follows the endless cycle of life and death to find the seeds of redemption in a fever-dream of a dying king, love eternal, and a life of bloodlust.

Story/Spoilers
In book #1, “Uroborous”, Close your blind eyes, what do you see? The sea turns to blood and the blood gave up its secrets! In a mystical world, a man called Blood must go on a horrific series of adventures to regain his lost humanity.

Next in book #2, “Communion”, Drums beat: there were no drums. Pipes played: there were no pipes. Something stirred inside him – an infant, a devil – crying for release… Blood and his comrades embark on a perilous quest to regain his lost humanity!

Next in book #3, “Theophany”, The ship glided forward. The sailors’ heads lolled from side to side. Skin flaked off, drifted into the bloody sea. Gnarled arms reached out. Empty eyes demanded: Give him to us. Blood thought being a vampire was pretty horrifying. But things get even worse when he becomes… a Yuppie!

Finally in book #4, “Uroborous”, And they flew: Without mind, without sky, without movement. And they Flew: Hearts entwined, bodies locked, minds as one. And they flew: Above time, beyond distance, beneath space. And they flew: straight and sure to the Isle of the Dead. Blood’s quest concludes! And not even he is prepared for the answers that he finds!
