Welcome to the Violent World of Autoduel America!2038 America after a series of natural and man-made disasters have changed the country. The Grain Blight destroyed crops causing widespread famine, and wars over dwindling resources culminated in a limited nuclear exchange.

During the dark years, life in America was similar to the post-apocalyptic world of Mad Max and the roads were ruled by heavily armed biker-gangs. In response, average citizens had to arm their cars in self-defense, and by the time the country began to recover autoduelling had become the nation’s most popular sport (both on the open road and in specially built arenas).

The main character, Chevy Vasquez, lost his parents and sister to a biker gang attack during those dark years. Now a successful arena autoduellist… a car warrior who drives a heavily armed vehicle in gladiatorial bouts staged for the sake of entertainment. He was considered one of the best, but still he led an empty life—until he heard about Fort Delorean and their viral-resistant grain. The first driver who could transport a carload across the 500 miles of wasteland between Fort Delorean and Lansing would be rich beyond measure—and might give the world a new chance at life. He is approached by a wealthy individual who wants to back “The Mad Mex” in The Delorean Run!

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, Hartoon attempts to recruit Chevy Vasquez to drive a load of Virunella from Fort Delorean in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan to Lansing

Next in issue #2, “Diamonds And Steel”, Other Auto-duelers head to Fort Delorean seeking fame and fortune in the deadly 500 mile race to Lansing

Next in issue #3, “The Run”, The race begins but it won’t be easy if the road gangs have anything to say about it!; Also, the most vicious and powerful road gang, The Vikings, gain an ally in the Soy Boy Corporation who want to keep their food supply monopoly at any cost.

Finally in issue #4, “Bloody Blacktop”, Its death and mayhem all the way to the finish line in the explosive and bloody conclusion to the Delorean Run. One winner…. and many other dead, last place losers. It mortally hurts to come in second place!!
