Story/Spoilers
In issue #1B, Carson Napier and his love Duare believe they have at last found a refuge from the dangers of Amtor in the peaceful city of Sanara, where Carson is the adopted son of the Jong of Korva. But when Carson and Duare’s element-powered airplane is attacked by a flock of raging angan bird-warriors, they find themselves caught in the web of Varlek Sar, a power-hungry scientist from the technocratic dystopia of Havatoo.

Next in issue #2B, With Carson Napier in chains in the technocratic dystopia of Havatoo, power-hungry scientist Varlek Sarseeking seeks to weaponize Carson’s ability to project his image great distances. Carson’s nemesis is aided by the only other Earthling known to have traveled to Venus-a mysterious woman worshipped as the goddess of fire who holds the secret to turning Carson’s ghostly projections into myriad legions of corporeal warriors. As Varlek Sar tries to coax Carson into a devil’s bargain, Duare must use all her wits and determination to assemble the bickering factions of Amlot into an alliance against the technologically superior city-state of Havatoo. The stakes couldn’t be higher for Carson and his companions. For if Duare fails to unite the factions and Carson succumbs to his enemy’s machinations, nothing will stand between Varlek Sar and his megalomaniacal plan to conquer all of Amtor, and after that-the unsuspecting planet Earth.

Finally in issue #3B, Carson Napier must go head-to-head with his nemesis Varlek Sar, whose army of ghostly Carson duplicates is locked in a deadly battle with the allied forces Duare has assembled from across Amtor. But the war raging in the streets of the dystopian science-city of Havatoo is just the diversion Varlek Sar needs, as he sets his sights beyond the mythical flames that surround Amtor to achieve his true goal-conquest of the planet Earth!
