Conan is far, far from home…
After being placed in a strange land by the evil wizard Kulan Gath (see Savage Avengers), Conan finds himself wandering a desert searching for food and manages to stumble upon Las Vegas! However, there appears to be more in store for our favorite Cimmerian. Vegas is merely the beginning of this journey as the barbarian finds himself on a quest for the Serpent Crown of Atlantis!
Story/Spoilers
In issue #1C, A Deadly Quest and a Daring Heist… In the Age of Marvels! Conan wanders the desert, and as he reaches the city, no Stygian temple nor Vendyhan fortress greets him. No, something far stranger: the lights of fabulous Las Vegas! Conan is far from home, and it’s time for him to tread the thrones of the Marvel Universe under his sandaled feet! The City of Sin is just the beginning for Conan’s solo jaunt, as the barbarian finds himself on a quest for a relic that predates even his Hyborian Age: the Serpent Crown of Atlantis! But will his battle for this crown earn Conan his own kingdom, or doom him to a nefarious trap set forth by Mephisto? Featuring a wide array of Marvel heroes and villains.
Features the Limited 1 for 25 Retailer Incentive Variant Cover by Tony Daniel & Rain Beredo.
Next in issue #2C, Thieves In the Night! Conan has reached his treasure…only to find the Black Cat has beaten him to his prize! It’s a cat-eat-cat world as one thief has to outrace another on the trail of the mystical Atlantean artifact! Plus: Mephisto’s sinister scheme could spell dire consequences for both!
Next in issue #3C, Conan in Wakanda! Conan’s quest for the Serpent Crown has transported him and co-adventurer Nyla Skin to Wakanda! The technologically advanced nation will certainly take the Barbarian by surprise…but not nearly as much as the even more ancient discovery hidden there! And if Conan thinks he’s going to steal from a country protected by the Black Panther…he’s got another thing coming!
Next in issue #4C, In Too Deep! The Serpent Crown’s roots in the Pre-Cataclysmic Age lead Conan back to where it all started… …but Atlantis is not quite what it once was. And even if he can locate the Crown, Namor isn’t going to let that treasure slip through his grasp!
Features the Limited 1 for 25 Retailer Incentive Variant Cover by Philip Tan & Sebatian Cheng.
Finally in issue #5C, Mephisto Triumphant?! The trail leading to the Serpent Crown has brought Mephisto’s ultimate goal within reach! As Conan makes his last-ditch effort to stake his claim on the treasure, Nyla Skin makes a daring move! But will the Serpent Crown’s newly revealed secret doom Conan to a fate undreamed of?
