Conan The Barbarian: 2099 is the fifth installment in Marvel’s “Fight for the Future” saga. The 2099 series features some of Marvel’s most prominent villians and heroes, including but not limited to Spider-Man, Doom, The Punisher, Fantastic Four, The Hulk, and Ghost Rider pitted against each other in a classic battle of good vs. evil, now with a futuristic setting. Marvel 2099 was originally one possible future of the Marvel Universe, but later revealed in a climax of Superior Spider-Man Goblin Nation arc and Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 3 #14 to be the Earth of the prime Marvel continuity in the distant future. How will Conan’s barbaric nature adapt to this dystopian cyberpunk future?

Years ago, a catastrophic event brought the age of heroes to an abrupt end. Now, several mega-corporations rule over humanity with the help of their private police force: the Public Eye.
