Beginning a brand-new Conan adventure of swords, sorcery…and dragons! This three-issue mini-series finds the bronze barbarian an unwilling savior of the town of Valdover. Conan is brought in as an unwilling savior of the town of Valdover. Apparently, he had killed the mercenaries who were scheduled to save the town from the ravages of the dragon Styrm. As a result, the sorceress in charge of the town used a combination of threats and bribes to secure his word to save the town instead.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, “Return of Styrm”, While passing through the city of Valdover, Conan collides with the ranks of Mecora! The evil high monk has the city under her control…and she intends to keep it that way! And that’s where our sword-slinger comes in. It seems that a dragon named Styrm is out for revenge against Mecora and the deadly lady tries to force Conan into protecting her from the dread beast. But as you can guess, Conan’s not about to be forced into anything!

Next in issue #2, “Cages”, Forced to fight for the sorceress Mecora and her band of terrorists, Conan must decide: will he stop Mecora’s men and leave an innocent town defenseless, or go along for the ride? Plus: What is the connection between the dragon named Styrm and the town of Valdover?

Finally in issue #3, “Wings of the Prayer”, Forced to deal with the consequences of his Cimmerian rage, Conan is stuck between an evil, immortal sorceress named Mecora and one very angry dragon called Styrm–but it is the good citizens of Valdover who suffer the most as their streets become a battleground! Will Conan do the right thing and manage to play both sides against the middle…and still get paid?
