The known world is locked in a holy war. As a godless mercenary company slogs across Europe in search of sustenance and coin, they encounter a demonic force born not of hell, but from beyond the stars! It’s an alien invasion Dark Ages style with alien invaders vs. medieval knights.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, A wandering band of mercenary soldiers, led by Captain Hawkherst: they’re starving, cold, and hoping to make their way to France to earn some money cutting up rivals for the throne. But when a meteor crashes near their camp, unleashing something evil, they’re counting their dead and forced to flee to a nearby monastery.

Next in issue #2, As hell comes forth from the skies above, the heathen war band seeks refuge and redemption in a fortified monastery. But inside lies a dark secret that could ensure their salvation-or seal their fate!

Next in issue #3, Fortified in a secluded monastery, the heathen mercenaries discover a strange new ally in their war against the demons from the sky. But this new discovery reveals a conflict much older-and much more deadly-than any of them could have imagined!

Finally in issue #4, When a godless mercenary war band discovers an ancient and bizarre piece of alien technology, they find themselves enlisted in the violent conflict against cosmic demon invaders!
