Description

Dark Horse Presents #35                                                             Comic
Featuring Predator, Heartbreakers, & A Tough Nut to Crack.  Awesome!!
Cover by: Chris Warner

Dark Horse Presents is an anthology series, each issue collecting several new short stories. Some stories are one-shots while many span several issues.

Marvel has Marvel Comics Presents; DC had DC Comics Presents; and… Dark Horse Comics has…well, you can guess. Dark Horse Presents isn’t just a clone of the big two’s try-out books. For one, it’s published in a hefty black-and-white format, packing two or three times as many stories into each issue as any of its competitors. Also, the range of stories is, well, frankly amazing! A single issue may start with a terrible spoof of Dark Horse itself, move on to a gritty true-crime drama such as Sin City, switch over to a fairy tale adapted from Oscar Wilde, cut loose with a Aliens tale, then return to part two of the spoof. Unbelievable! Good Stuff!!

Following “Aliens” in Dark Horse Presents #34, Dark Horse Presents #35 (this issue) features, “Predator”… the lead-up to one of the biggest projects that Dark Horse Comics has ever bestowed upon Aliens and Predator fandom… the first ever Aliens versus Predator clash that goes down in the next issue, Dark Horse Presents #36. All-time History-Making Classic Stuff!! And if that where not enough, be prepared to be blown away, literally, by the Heartbreakers. Finally, with much fanfare, A Tough Nut to Crack… whose artwork speaks for itself. (see scans 10-12) Awesome!!

Dark Horse Presents #35 contains:

“Predator”   9 pages
Writer: Randy Stradley
Artist: Phil Norwood
Inker: Karl Story
Letterer: Pat Brosseau
Editor: Randy Stradley

Bursting out from the pages of their best-selling mini-series, the Predator’s hunt continues as chronicled by Randy Stradley and Chris Warner! This is the second in a three-part story comprising the first ALIENS/PREDATOR crossover. The first story (issue #34) is purely ALIENS. The story in this issue is only PREDATOR. In #36 is where they actually crossover.
