Dark Horse Presents is an anthology series, each issue collecting several new short stories. Some stories are one-shots while many span several issues.
Marvel has Marvel Comics Presents; DC had DC Comics Presents; and… Dark Horse Comics has…well, you can guess. Dark Horse Presents isn’t just a clone of the big two’s try-out books. For one, it’s published in a hefty black-and-white format, packing two or three times as many stories into each issue as any of its competitors. Also, the range of stories is, well, frankly amazing! A single issue may start with a terrible spoof of Dark Horse itself, move on to a gritty true-crime drama such as Sin City, switch over to a fairy tale adapted from Oscar Wilde, cut loose with a Predator tale, then return to part two of the spoof. Unbelievable! Good Stuff!!
Dark Horse Presents #67,68,69 features the complete three-part, 29 pages, lead-in to the Dark Horse miniseries, Predator: Race War. Story by novelist Andrew Vachss, adapted by Randy Stradley and artists Jordan Raskin and John Beatty. Then, starting in February 1993, Dark Horse Comics debuted Predator: Race War as a four-issue color miniseries. Half-way through the series Dark Horse Comics published, Race War issue #0, which reprinted/re-presented the three-part, 29 page, “Race War” prologue from Dark Horse Presents #67,68,69 in full-color for the first time. This lot of the original Dark Horse Presents #67, #68, and #69 comics features the complete three-part “Race War” prologue in Glorious Black & White!
Dark Horse Presents Comics Lot contains:
