Story/Spoilers
In part #1, When the Secret Invasion comes to a baseball game, the Skrulls are confused when the home team’s mascot shows some weird genetic readings. That’s because the guy in the suit is none other than the merc with a mouth, Deadpool, and he takes the fight directly to the alien invaders. After Deadpool cuts his way to the Skrull commander, he shocks his enemies by offering to work for them.

Next in part #2, Deadpool offers to work for the Skrulls but they decide to dissect him and figure out what makes him tick. Discovering that he has an extraordinary healing factor, the Skrulls implement this into the next batch of Super Skrulls. Deadpool convinces his Skrull captors to let him train the new army of Skrull Deadpools and does so by pitting them against the regular Super Skrulls and each other. Watching their new breed of warriors killing each other off, the Skrull command realizes too late that Deadpool is plain crazy. What they don’t know is that he is also secretly working for Nick Fury.

Next in part #3, On orders from Fury, Deadpool makes quick work of the Skrulls he was supposedly working for. The cloned Skrull Deadpools crash thanks to the cancer in Wade’s system. Deadpool downloads Skrull info for Fury but it is intercepted by Norman Osborn.

Next in part #4, Short on funds as his last few missions have not brought the cash rolling in, Deadpool takes a job from his old merc pal Zeke to kill the plastic surgeon who has turned Zeke’s wife into a zombie. It doesn’t help Deadpool’s cause much that his physical condition makes him look a little like a zombie himself.

Finally in part #5, Deadpool has been captured by diabolical zombie creator Dr. Lovosno and finds he has been set up by his good buddy Zeke in order to compel the doctor to return his wife. Unfortunately, Lovosno plans on utilizing Deadpool’s regenerative powers to allow him to be a constant food source for the zombies. Fortunately, Deadpool tastes bad and the zombies refuse to eat him. When Zeke and his band of mercs show up to get his wife, Deadpool offers them up as a zombie feast before he deals out a final explosive surprise.
