Marvel UK introduces the feral Die-Cut, in a limited series teaming him with Death’s Head II. This explosive team-up has a cover sporting a foil embossed logo. Hard core action fans are going to beg for more after they read a story that finds a new berserker siding with Death’s Head II and Tuck as they claw their way clear of certain doom. Death’s Head II is on the world of Lionheart trying to quell a plague that has been killing replicants and he figures that one of the only ways to succeed in this is to free one of his captured personalities. Die-Cut is reborn but he doesn’t want to rescue anybody – he just wants to beat on Death’s Head II.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, “Death’s Head II & Die Cut, Part 1: The First Cut”, Death’s Head II and his partner Tuck find themselves on Matricca Scorpio—a planet of cyborgs. They are there in search of a cure for a plague that is ravaging the world of Lionheart. Known as “Perfection,” the plague works by transmuting artificial flesh into metal. For a world such as Lionheart, where so much of the population — including the royal family — is synthetic, the plague poses a deadly danger.

Finally in issue #2, “Death’s Head II & Die Cut, Part 2: Death and Perfection”, Die-Cut’s ultimate purpose revealed! Die-Cut and Death’s Head II team up to find a cure for Tuck’s fatal infection. Along the way, readers learn the true extent of Die-Cut’s powers and the dark secret of the black Museum of Cyborgs. Their mission on Matricca Scorpio leads to disaster, however, as both Tuck and Death’s Head II are infected by the disease. Moreover, they are assaulted by an endless army of cyborgs. In a desperate stratagem, Death’s Head II allows one of his 105 personalities to exorcise itself — setting it loose in a newly created body. That personality, who calls itself Die Cut, will either be the pair’s salvation or the ultimate destroyer.
