Dejah, the princess of Helium and wife of the Earthman John Carter. John has gone missing and is being hunted by the royal guard for the theft of a precious, important artifact of as – yet unknown origin. Dejah is getting no information on why he is being hunted and has set out on her own, against orders, to find her husband and what has transpired. With extreme prejudice, Dejah intends to find out where John is and what he has done.

Story/Spoilers
In issue # 1, Following the events of Warlord of Mars #100, John Carter has gone missing. And to find him there’s nothing Dejah Thoris won’t break. No one she won’t hurt. No hornet’s nest she won’t kick. But the Warlord of Mars stole an important Helium artifact before he disappeared, so not only is the Princess on her own this time – she has to get Carter before anyone else does!

Next in issue #2, The more rocks Dejah Thoris overturns to find the missing John Carter, the more clues point to something bigger and more insidious than his disappearance. And the greater the chance she’ll disappear – or be disappeared – herself!

Next in issue #3, To find the missing John Carter, Dejah Thoris must … stop looking for him? The Princess must turn her attention to an unsettling wave of crimes in Helium in hopes it leads her to him. Meanwhile, the strange red man who calls himself the Red Reaper is determined to discover Carter’s secrets for himself – even if his experiments kill the Warlord of Mars!

Finally in issue #4, Ruthless! Reckless! Remorseless! Dejah Thoris will shoot, hack and smash her way to her abducted husband – half a step ahead of the Helium Royal Guard. But the Red Reaper may kill John Carter first trying to extract the secret of his immortality. And if he can’t do that, he’s taking everyone on Barsoom with him – by activating the giant red cannons buried around the planet!
