Story/Spoilers
In issue #1A, On the way to an archeological dig at an ancient battle site at the ‘face’ of Mars, Dejah Thoris and her party are stranded. They take shelter in a dead, ancient city – infested with killer white apes. Hungry ones. The most harrowing horror story in the annals of Barsoom!

Next in issue #2A, First they were forced to watch from hiding while the men in her party are torn apart and eaten by white apes. Now an unarmed and vastly outnumbered Princess Dejah Thoris and her female friends must flee for their own lives in an ancient, dead city! The apes are still hungry. No-holds-barred horror and suspense like you’ve never seen in John Carter’s world, by ‘Rotten’ creator Mark Rahner. And it just keeps getting worse.

Next in issue #3A, First they killed and ate her crew. Then her best friends. Now Dejah Thoris is the only person left trapped in the ancient dead city, and the ravenous white apes want her. The suspense and action crank up yet another notch as the princess fights desperately to survive – with a ship full of unwitting children on the way!

Finally in issue #4A, The harrowing horror epic’s explosive conclusion! The princess has seen her crew and best friends killed and eaten by the white apes that infest a dead Martian city.
