The sorcerer’s youngest son, Brandon Waite, delves into his dad’s supernatural activities to find a cure. Set in a New England town, the Devil’s Footprints utilizes mood and ominous atmosphere to tell its tale of battling demons and family curses. When it was released, the Devil’s Footprints drew comparisons to Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Sandman.

Story/Spoilers
In part #1, In an ancient New England town, the family of a deceased sorcerer suffers under mysterious illnesses, and the only clue to their maladies is a burning slip of paper with the word “Father” scrawled in an inhuman hand. Attempting to reveal the origin of the curse, the youngest son, Brandon Waite, is forced to dip into his father’s bag of evil tricks, conjuring demons and fighting for his own soul. A deal with the devil leads to a demonic battle in the center of the quaint, doomed Massachusetts town.

Next in part #2, Desperate measures for desperate times: Brandon Waite digs up his dead father in hopes of finding some clue to what’s killing his family. While this supernatural force threatens those he loves, Brandon finds himself the victim of a good-old witch hunt, in the fine New England tradition. And this night’s just getting worse. Before it’s out, he’ll be covered in blood, all too aware that he can’t protect his girlfriend… without resorting to even more desperate acts.

Next in part #3, As his girlfriend lies in bed recovering from wounds received while channeling an unidentified spirit, Brandon Waite, ready as he’ll ever be to confront the sinister secrets of his family, conjures a demon in her house. It turns out Brandon isn’t ready.

Finally in part #4, Brandon, bloodied for his troubles but finally understanding the diabolical task before him, sets out for a showdown with the ancient demon who destroyed his father’s life and now seeks to claim his entire family. Now an angry mob from town has shown up, believing they’ve caught Brandon in a Satanic ritual? But what they witness will leave them all wishing that a little run-of-the-mill devil worship was all they had to worry about.
