The Ultimate Computer Warrior!
The origin of Digitek actually begins some years ago. The shadow corporation known as MyS-TECH sent its Warheads force on a “retrieval mission.” Two Warheads troopers were killed on that mission, but the survivors succeeded in bringing back the strange substance known as proto-silicon. Through a project known as Digitek, MyS-TECH began to explore their new find. They discovered that proto-silicon had almost infinite potential, including the ability to mimic brain functions. In many ways, proto-silicon was alive. Sensing the potential of proto-silicon, MyS-TECH’s competitors at the Miracle corporation introduced a virus into the proto-silicon programming and sent shock troops to storm Digitek, killing everyone there, everyone, that is, except the project lead, Jonathan Bryant. Fatally wounded, he fell into the proto-silicon matrix, becoming one with it. Unknown to all he survives and finds that the suit has bonded with him. Choosing to use his powers for good, Jonathan decides to call himself after the project: Digitek. His first opponents are the villains known as Bacillicons, three mercenaries who had been similarly transformed, but are warped by the virus. As the building explodes a worldwide distress signal is sent out which locks onto the cyborg hero Deathlok. Deathlok is then transported to the UK.

And now a war, involving the cyborg Deathlok, is about to begin.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, During a demonstration of a new technology, Psi-Key, mercenaries attack and kill everyone there, but Jonathan Bryant is accidentally thrown into cyber-space and transformed into Digitek, the ultimate computer warrior! Also features a special appearance by Deathlok!

Next in issue #2, After the Protosilicon is stolen from Northstar Labs, Digitek and his bewildered wife, Sam, set out to find the assailants. They succeed and find themselves face to face with the Bacillicons, walking, talking, killing products of an advanced computer virus. The Bacillicons try to delete Digitek. Continuing the special appearance by Deathlok!

Next in issue #3, A battle royale begins between Deathlok, Digitek and the Bacillicons, all of whom are bent on destroying the heroes. But destroying the heroes isn’t going to be easy with Deathlok helping out Digitek against the Bacillicons. Continuing the special appearance by Deathlok!
