Dinosaurs is an American family sitcom television series that aired on ABC for four seasons from April 26, 1991, through July 20, 1994. The show, about a family of anthropomorphic dinosaurs, was produced by Michael Jacobs Productions and Jim Henson Television in association with Walt Disney Television and distributed by Buena Vista International, Inc. The characters were designed by Henson team member Kirk Thatcher.

The Sinclairs are a perfectly nice family of dinosaurs. There’s Robby, a sort of dinosaur nerd and general outcast at Bob Labrea High School; his sister, a typical older sibling who loves pointing out what a dweeb he is; Earl, the father, a spineless company man working for the WeSaySo company; Baby, a hopelessly cute lizard; Nana Ethyl, the aunt; and Mom who holds them all together. These lovable characters made for a charming and funny live-action television show in the early 1990s.

Dinosaurs was adapted into comic form for two issues published in 1992 and 1993 by Disney’s Hollywood Comics. The 48-page paperback comic books featured stories based on the Dinosaurs TV show. Stories include “Citizen Robbie”, “The Flying Fool”, “Nana Ethyl’s Dinosaur Tails: King Earl and the Knights of the Buffet Table”, “Nana Ethyl’s Dinosaur Tails: Baby and the Beanstalk”, “Invasion of the Dino-Snatchers”, “The Pest Years of Our Lives” & “Frannie I Blew up the Baby”.
