Six thousand years in the future, the world is well down the road to destruction. The Earth has gradually moved closer and closer to the sun, causing the seas to dry up and threatening life everywhere. Unable to solve the world’s problems, the World Development Council came up with a brilliant distraction: a contest known simply as “the Game.” Dragon’s Claws—Mercy, Digit, Steel, Scavenger, and their leader Dragon—were the premier players of the Game. But when the Game turned deadly, the team dropped out. Inevitably, the growing crisis drew the team back together. Only this time, they’re playing a game of their own! In addition to the non-stop action of the Dragon’s Claws, this title is notable as the birthplace of the cyborg Death’s Head (later Death’s Head II).

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, Dragon’s Claws – Dragon, Mercy, Digit, Scavenger, and Steel – were once the finest game players in the world. But this is not the world that you and I know! Earth, 6,000 years into the future, is a planet moving ever closer towards its sun. The seas are drying up, the animals are dying, and civil unrest runs rampant in the streets of every town and city. Once disbanded, the Dragon’s Claws must now reunite for the betterment of mankind.

Next in issue #2, Dragon’s Claws go head-to-head with the Evil Dead, a sinister team that matches their own!

Next in issue #3, Raymond Golding is kidnapped by French Terrorists!

Next in issue #4, Dragon’s Claw are in the fight of their lives as they try to rescue World Development Council’s British ambassador, William Golding.

Next in issue #5, Dragon’s Claws survive an encounter with the deadly cyborg assassin Death’s Head?

Next in issue #6, They call themselves Shrine! The worship an ancient god with 82nd Century technology. They were once one oif this era’s greatest Game teams. Now, as then, they believe in just two things – Victory and Retribution!

Next in issue #7, Her name is Mercy! She’s been a buisness magnate, a vigilante, and a member of the elite commando squad known as Dragon’s Claws, and she is about to die!

Next in issue #8, The sinister Evil Dead return to plague Dragon’s Claws and this time our heroes may not be able to stop them.

Next in issue #9, The National Union of Retired Sports Expert’s headquarters is under siege! It’s free-for-all as Dragon’s Claws fight for survival against the sinister Evil Dead!

Finally in issue #10, The Dragon’s Claws try to stop a hijacked chemical waste transporter and save the hostages within.
