Red Donald appears before a council in a village in the eastern domains of the world of Dominaria, demanding that his troops be allowed to make use of the village for food and shelter; if he is refused, he will take the village by force. What Red Donald does not know—but soon comes to understand—is that the village is connected to two Elder Dragons, and when the dragons awaken, his real troubles begin.

This two-issue limited series from Acclaim’s Armada imprint is tied into the popular Magic: The Gathering collectible card game and includes playing tips.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, Deception leads to betrayal as a brash warrior’s Dragon Whelp leads an army smack into the burial mound that has kept an immensely powerful Elder Dragon in suspended animation for centuries. Once unleashed, no force on Dominaria – not even the mysterious wizard known as the Tickery Man – can quell the wrath of Palladia Mors! The Elder Dragons are the most powerful creatures in the Legends expansion, and possibly the most powerful cards in all of Magic: The Gathering! Avatars of Dominaria’s long-forgotten past, some of the secrets of these majestic beasts are revealed in this two-issue limited series.

Finally in issue #2, The sky war begins! The stakes rise as the conflict between the vicious Palladia Mors and the Chromium Dragon Rhuell is joined by a third dragon – the evil Vaevictus Asmodi! The most powerful creatures in the Magic: The Gathering Legends expansion set, the Elder Dragons are avatars of Dominaria’s long-forgotten past. Many of the secrets of these majestic beasts are revealed in the conclusion to this two-issue series.
