The Philippines, 1975. Exemplar Pictures International stars Van Hauser, Kandy Brick, and Romy Verzosa are filming the latest installments in the “Vines of Death” horror film franchise. When Van made a night-time trip to a secluded island to meet a potential investor, he instead found a man claiming to be Count Dracula, along with his blood-thirsty brides and several rampaging, winged, vampire gorillas.

Firmly believing that vampires are not real, Van assumed that the whole thing was some elaborate hoax, but was shocked to learn that everything was all too real when a hideous vampire monster attacked the island. Dracula informed Van that he needs his help to defeat the vampire creatures who hope to rule the world, but why had Dracula chosen him? Because Van is the last, surviving member of the Van Helsing family. Van managed to escape the island, but can he possibly escape the nightmares to follow?

Story/Spoilers:
In issue #1, Return to 1970’s grindhouse horror as Van Hauser and Kandy Brick come to terms with the truth… That Count Dracula is real, and he has his sights set on them! Following the horrific confrontation on Dracula’s Philippine Islands sanctuary, the king of the vampires desperately searches for a way to halt the threat of the “tainted ones,” and that means uncovering the original journals of Abraham Van Helsing, now in the possession of Van Helsing’s great, great, grandson, “B” horror movie star, Van Hauser!

Finally in issue #2, The heart-ripping, true tale of Dracula set in the 1970’s Philippines continues! After their movie co-star Romy Verzosa is kidnapped by a vicious, female vampire, Van Hauser and Candy Brick know that the only way that they can save the life of their friend is to venture to Count Dracula’s secluded, island fortress to give him the ransom that he demands… The secret journals of Abraham Van Helsing! But how can they possibly be prepared for the tropical hell that they are about to walk into, a steaming jungle isle populated by Dracula, his brides, and his unholy vampire gorillas? And can even Dracula be prepared when his sanctuary comes under attack by the hideous, vampire monster rivals who seek to destroy him?
