The Philippines, 1975. Exemplar Pictures International stars Van Hauser, Kandy Brick, and Romy Verzosa are filming the latest installments in the “Vines of Death” horror film franchise. When Van made a night-time trip to a secluded island to meet a potential investor, he instead found a man claiming to be Count Dracula, along with his blood-thirsty brides and several rampaging, winged, vampire gorillas.

Firmly believing that vampires are not real, Van assumed that the whole thing was some elaborate hoax, but was shocked to learn that everything was all too real when a hideous vampire monster attacked the island. Dracula informed Van that he needs his help to defeat the vampire creatures who hope to rule the world, but why had Dracula chosen him? Because Van is the last, surviving member of the Van Helsing family. Van managed to escape the island, but the nightmare was far from over.

The following night, Van confided his story to an incredulous Kandy and Romy. However, their meeting was interrupted by one of Dracula’s brides and a trio of vampire monsters. The bride protected the humans and slew the creatures, but with Romy as her prisoner, she told Van that his friend will be safe, as long as the actor delivers the journal of Abraham Van Helsing to Dracula’s island fortress. It is only through the book that the defeat of the vampire monsters might be possible.

Van and Kandy return to the island of Dracula to rescue Romy, but it is at the worst possible time, as an army of vampire monsters has invaded the sanctuary, intent on the destruction of the king of the vampires. Surprisingly, the invaders warn Van to leave, and Romy has his own interesting interaction, a conversation with one od Dracula’s brides whose one wish is to die… If Dracula would allow it. With each passing moment, Dracula’s motivations are becoming increasingly suspect…

Story/Spoilers:
In issue #1, The first story arc in the horrifying new tale of the immortal Count Dracula comes to a shattering conclusion in Part 1 of the two-part finale! In his remote, Philippine Islands kingdom, Dracula’s carefully-constructed world begins to crash down around him as his island sanctuary is invaded by an army of savage, feral vampire creatures who seek to destroy him. But even with his monstrous, vampire gorilla bodyguards at his side and the assistance of a desperate Van Hauser and Kandy Brick, can the eternal, vampire king withstand the onslaught of the rampaging, bloodthirsty beasts who seek his destruction?

Finally in issue #2, The blockbuster conclusion of the first Eternal Thirst of Dracula story arc comes to a blood-drenched conclusion in the final showdown to end all final showdowns! On Count Dracula’s secluded Philippine island stronghold, Van Hauser and Kandy “Kung Fu Mama” Brick must adopt every gimmick they can from the fantasy characters they portray in the 1970s “B” horror movies in which they normally star if they have any hope to survive against not only Dracula himself, but his vampire gorilla bodyguards. But Dracula’s domain is also under siege by an army of hideous vampire creatures who will fight to the death to destroy the undead Count and his legacy! The twists, turns, and unexpected revelations will leave you reeling in this outstanding homage to the horror films of the ’70s, for mature readers only!
