Fantastic Four Issues #60-66

In part #1, Mr. Shertzer, an employee with a PR firm, is assigned to spend some time with The Fantastic Four.

Next in part #2, As the result of a practical joke on the Thing, he goes on a rampage directed at the Yancy Street Gang. A mysterious, extratechnological force appears at the FF headquarters. Sue Storm tries to help Johnny grow up by assigning him an important job.

Next in part #3, Johnny Storm is having trouble adjusting to his new job as head of FF, Inc.’s financial division. Meanwhile, at a movie theater, Sue Storm and the Thing are attacked by a strange extratechnological life-form.

Next in part #4, The Fantastic Four continue their battle against an electrochemical creature, now dubbed “Modulus”, with little success. But Reed thinks he may have a way to defeat it.

Next in part #5, While the rest of the Fantastic Four battle Modulus, Reed works in his lab to figure out the mathematical formula he believes will defeat their foe.

Next in part #6, Reed and the Thing must track down an elusive insect-like alien that has appeared at FF headquarters. Meanwhile, Sue is troubled to learn that Johnny may have signed away the trade secret behind the FF’s amazingly resilient uniforms.

Finally in part #7, Scientists working for corrupt fashion impresario Jacob Suarti attempt to discover the secrets to the FF’s adaptable uniforms and unleash a deadly, fast-spreading chain-reaction of “unstable molecules”. Meanwhile, Reed and the Thing are still trying to solve their bug problem.
