Fighting against greedy businesses, evil aliens called Newts, and a dark god called Nosiron (whom he affectionately nicknames ‘Frogspawn’). The Newts “believe they brought civilization to Earth many thousands of years ago when they separated humankind from nature. 21st Century humans like Finn, who believe modern society is unnatural, are to be eliminated!” But the Newts never succeed in eliminating Finn, because his coven and the powers it derives from the Goddess are too strong.

Followers of the one god, Lord Nosiron, have made it their job to keep normal people unfocused as to what is really going on. “Newts” are all one creature with the same mind and their human agents— the shining ones— are their messengers. There are still pockets of resistance-covens of the goddess that for ages have attempted to keep the old knowledge alive and overthrow the Newts so that man could develop on his own. Finn is chosen to use what skills and weapons he has available to keep the enemy on its’ toes while the ancient battle gears closer to a conclusion.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, Pat Mills does it again, creating another champion for chaos! This time he’s a mystic assassin named Finn who takes out the alien scum among us!

Next in issue #2, “Gone Fishing”, Mankind was happy and at one with nature… until the Newts came and infected us with civilization. Now Finn’s going to change that!

Next in issue #3, Finn takes the battle for Earth to the Newts own backyard, and uses weapons both acient and modern to kill them!

Finally in issue #4, “Angel Delight”, It’s the big showdown between Finn and the Nosiron – the all-powerful Newt leader. To say Finn is out of his depths is putting it mildly!
