Story/Spoilers 
In issue #1, The Witch Queen spoils the Mongo Olympics by kidnapping Flash Gordon. Later, Flash befriends the Squidmen of Molluskum after saving them from a Gastroclops; Azura takes Flash to Syk and imprisons him. Grateful to Flash for saving his life, Tralgor frees him. Flash attempts to flee but crashes in the Kingdom of the Fire.

Finally in issue #2, Flash remembers a childhood encounter with Allura on Earth. Later, Flash exposes and stops Ming’s plot to regain power.
