At long last, Frank Miller’s never-before-seen full Robocop epic finally sees light of day! Robocop was one of the truly great bits of movie and pop culture magic from the 80s, and the cult of Robocop continues to grow strong to this day. In full-on action, the Robocop is told as Frank Miller always intended, composed straight from the master’s original writings and scripts! The vast majority of Miller’s insane ideas, vicious black humor, and robotic mayhem never made it to the screen, but every last bit is finally unleashed in this series. With sequential adaptation from Steven Grant and art by superstar Juan Jose Ryp.
Story/Spoilers
In part #1, During a demolition a young girl is left to be an orphan after father is killed. The little girl is kidnapped as she wanders the street alone, Robocop sees the vehicle they are making their getaway and attempts to pursue. After the vehicle is stopped Robocop learns of a bigger situation and goes in to investigate. Robocop ends up at a human trafficking stop and goes in to put an end to the situation.
Next in part #2, Robocop is under scrutiny from the local media and running low on rest. Robocop collapses at police head-quarters leaving O.C.P. to be called in to do repairs. Dr. Margret Love gives Robocop a psychological evaluation. After the evaluation they move over to the labs and start rolling the films of setbacks in the Robocop program, Robocop 2.
Next in part #3, As Dr. Margret Love is reviewing the tapes of Robocop two. Robocop two is unpredictable and unstable leaving him falling out of a thirteen story building. Meanwhile O.C.P.’s Rehabilitation Concepts are killing any type of wrongdoer. As O.C.P. sets a trap for Robocop, Robocop vs. Rehabilitation Concept leaves them with an eye for an eye.
Next in part #4, After the fight with O.C.P.’s Rehabilitation Concepts Robocop is taken back in pieces. Dr. Margret Love has reset his directives to be more public relations than cop. O.C.P. is setting up Robocop to be a cop killer. After the assassination of an officer, Officer Lewis is now at mercy from this sniper.
Next in part #5, Robocop is framed for the murder of the Chief. Lewis is on the run from the Rehabilitation Concept’s sniper. They begin chase with Lewis running in to a donut shop and explains a rule of nature. Meanwhile Robocop is enforcing his new directives. Robocop two comes on scene with bullets for blood. Robocop watches as he makes a gesture with blood that he has seen before.
Next in part #6, Robocop manipulates his directives so he can return fire from O.C.P.’s Rehabilitation Concept. Robocop vs. Robocop 2 unleashes an all out battle until the software is shut down. Meanwhile Robocop has more simulations made to make him look like the bad guy. Robocop vanishes of O.C.P.’s grid while Robocop Two is reformatted with a new personality.
Next in part #7, Robocop vs. O.C.P.’s head-quarters, making an entrance in the basement, then making his way until he finds Dr. Margret Love. Robocop orders everyone out of the room leaving just him, her, and Robocop two. Robocop forces Dr. Margret Love to erase his prime directive and leaves her in the burning room. Dr. Love uploads her mind in to Robocop two and goes after Robocop.
Next in part #8, Former Chicago Police officers have been set up by O.C.P.’s Rehabilitation Concepts. Robocop makes his entrance taking all down with the help of his fellow officers. They take down the almost the entire crew except for one. Dr. Margret Love has finally caught up to Robocop, he tells of all the pain that he feels, that he never told her before regarding the power that comes with being made of metal.
Finally in part #9, Robocop vs. Robocop two fighting in a building that is just frame only. Robocop decides that there can only be one way to kill Robocop two, by sacrificing himself. Before falling to the ground Robocop two starts to show two identities, O.C.P.’s Rehabilitation Concept officer and Dr. Margret Loves. After hitting the ground they both survive leaving Robocop to be saved by his partner.
