Description
From Hell: Master Edition Trade Paperback Lot
Featuring the Fully Colorized Remaster of the Jack the Ripper story… an Alan Moore classic! Awesome!!
Writer: Alan Moore
Artists: Eddie Campbell, Peter Mullins, April Post & Steve Stamatiadis
Editor: Chris Staros
All Covers by: Eddie Campbell & Ken Gerleve
From Hell features the story of Jack the Ripper, the most infamous serial murderer of all time. Alan Moore names Dr. Gull as the villain and creates the most compelling and terrifying psychological study ever undertaken. Together with artist Eddie Campbell, all of the conspiracies and cover-ups are considered and bound together in this vortex of terror. The film based on the book – released by 20th Century Fox, starring Johnny Depp & Heather Graham, and directed by The Hughes Brothers – has brought a bonanza of media attention to the book that is regarded as one of the most significant graphic novels ever published. A gripping, crime noir, modern masterpiece of historical fiction.
Jack is back – and this time, the blood is red. “My all-time favorite graphic novel… an immense, majestic work about the Jack the Ripper murders, the dark Victorian world they happen in, and the birth of the 20th century.” – Warren Ellis, Entertainment Weekly. Experience From Hell as never seen before: fully restored and in color for the first time! Five unsolved murders. Two of the greatest creators in the history of comics. One sprawling conspiracy, one metropolis on the brink of the 20th century, and one bloody-minded Ripper ushering London into the modern age of terror. The award-winning bestseller From Hell, often ranked among the greatest graphic novels of all time, takes on haunting new dimensions in From Hell: The Master Edition, enhanced with impressionistic hues by Eddie Campbell himself.
