Rome sends the daughter of a powerful military leader accompanied by a bountiful feast into the territory of barbarians. The carriage is lightly protected and the guards are quickly dispatched. As it turns out, the daughter was actually just a slave girl and the food is poisoned. The barbarians feast on the poisoned food but instead of dying or growing ill, they suffer a much more horrific fate…

A rebel leading an army of the undead attempts to usurp the empire that made him a slave. During the final confrontation, the empire ends up having a man who can also control the undead. This champion of the empire seizes control of the undead army from the rebel, leading to the rebel being captured and crucified.

A tribe of Vikings is trying to burn their dead in traditional “flaming ship” fashion. The corpse their attempting to burn is alive and keeps squirming, avoiding the flames. Suddenly, a young boy comes running onto the scene. He is being following by a horde of zombies, but since the Vikings burned all their ships trying to complete the funeral, they now have no way to escape.
