Story/Spoilers
In issue #1A, Cobra’s terror across the globe reigns. A new world peace accord, to be signed by several world leaders, will soon take place on the neutral Frisian Islands. Hawk and his finest G.I. Joe operatives prepare themselves for what could be a monumental shift in the fight against Cobra Commander’s Venom. Meanwhile, America’s most advanced secret agent, Steve Austin, continues OSI’s silent war against evil. Now armed with revolutionary bio-mechanical upgrades, the Six Million Dollar Man descends into the darkest corner of Siberia.
Next in issue #2A, Brainwashed by Dr. Mindbender, the new, evil Steve Austin has crash-landed Air Force One, leaving G.I. Joe stranded in the middle of a veritable snake pit, surround by Cobra forces. Meanwhile, in Switzerland, Cobra Commander has executed the second stage of his plan for domination, and sieged the Infinity Centre: A monolithic structure that houses not only thousands of innocent civilians, but the majority of the global economic infrastructure.
Next in issue #3A, Stranded on Cobra-occupied Frisian Islands, G.I. Joe struggles to protect several world leaders, and themselves, from the fury of a brainwashed Steve Austin. Splintered into two teams, Hawk leads his finest in securing safe ground, while Scarlett leads hers in ascending the Infinity Tower, now fully sieged by Cobra Commander. As world peace hangs by a thread, the Department of Defense pauses a kill-order on the Six Million Dollar Man, activating “Protocol: Powerplay,” a retired agent now brought back into the battle for justice – Mike Power, AKA the Atomic Man!
Finally in issue #4A, As Cobra and Steve Austin clench the Joes tighter in their deadly grip, Hawk is aided by an unlikely ally – Mike Power, the Atomic Man! Meanwhile, in Switzerland, Scarlett leads her team further into Cobra Commander’s snake pit, but first they must contend with Toma and Xamot, the twins unhinged.
