Description
Gizmo Comics Lot
Writer: Michael Dooney
Artist: Michael Dooney
All Covers by: Michael Dooney
“Gizmo” is a comic book series created, written, and illustrated by Michael Dooney. It is presented in Glorious Black and White. It was first published as a single issue by Chance Enterprises in 1985, and was later published as a six issue mini-series by Mirage Studios from 1986 to 1987. It tells about the story of two space adventurers: Gizmo Sprocket, a robot with a cool attitude, and Fluffy Brockleton, an anthropomorphic dog. They are accompanied by Soto, a sentient, pan-dimensional space vehicle that resembles a trailer truck. There are no maniac mutants, grim avengers, or gun-toting vigilantes in this series, but Gizmo is loaded with good old-fashioned, science fiction fun.
And Now, Mirage Studios Presents, Gizmo – a sci-fi comedy about a robot of the same name. Gizmo jaunts around space in a self-aware ship named Soto, doing his best to get into trouble. As if he needed help in this quest, he’s aided by his dear good friend and drinking buddy Fluffy Brockelton, a gigantic, furry, dog-like creature…
