This series follows Detective Makoto Sato, whose quest to bring down the Takahashi Crime Syndicate leads to him ending up on Monster Island. After encountering Mothra’s tiny priestesses known as the Elias, Sato hatches a desperate plan to bring the Elias to Tokyo so that Mothra will follow and destroy Takahashi’s criminal empire. Things quickly go awry as evil yakuza boss Ryota Takahashi kidnaps the Elias himself with the intention of using them to rule Tokyo, attracting all of the denizens of Monster Island, including Godzilla himself, to the city. Now, Sato must work to fix the mess he created with the help of his two sons and G-Force’s retired Mechagodzilla.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, Detective Makoto Sato is on an unrelenting quest to bring down the Takahashi crime syndicate. Sato’s efforts earn him a one-way trip to a tropical getaway, courtesy of the Tokyo criminal underworld. The exotic locale? Monster Island! Alone and facing death at the hands of both gangsters and goliaths, Sato must use his wits to survive-and enlist the aid of some most unusual friends.
