After encountering Mothra’s tiny priestesses known as the Elias, Sato hatches a desperate plan to bring the Elias to Tokyo so that Mothra will follow and destroy Takahashi’s criminal empire. Things quickly go awry as evil yakuza boss Ryota Takahashi kidnaps the Elias himself with the intention of using them to rule Tokyo, attracting all of the denizens of Monster Island, including Godzilla himself, to the city. Now, Sato must work to fix the mess he created with the help of his two sons and G-Force’s retired Mechagodzilla.

Story/Spoilers
In part #1, “Among the Monsters”, Detective Makoto Sato is on an unrelenting quest to bring down the Takahashi crime syndicate. Sato’s efforts earn him a one-way trip to a tropical getaway, courtesy of the Tokyo criminal underworld. The exotic locale? Monster Island! Alone and facing death at the hands of both gangsters and goliaths, Sato must use his wits to survive-and enlist the aid of some most unusual friends.

Next in part #2, “The Wronged Man”, Detective Makoto Sato returns from Monster Island, and he’s brought some unusual new friends. Heading straight to the corrupt Chief of Police, Sato makes it clear he’ll bring justice to the streets of Tokyo no matter what. To prove his point, Sato decides to show off his new partner… Mothra! But Sato might be biting off more than he can chew… after all, there’s more than one monster in town!

Next in part #3, “Moth and Flame”, Detective Makoto Sato has been framed, disgraced and left on the run. But beware a desperate man… with a friend like Mothra! Sato strikes back at the Takahashi crime empire and the criminal underworld is powerless to fight back against the winged kaiju. Yet before Sato can finish the job, he learns that no man can truly control a monster!

Next in part #4, “While Tokyo Burns”, With the help of Mothra, Detective Sato thought he had the Takahashi crime syndicate on the ropes… but Takahashi isn’t going down without a fight! Sato is once again helpless as his son is kidnapped and Mothra is no longer in his control. Never one to give up, Sato decides to just think bigger. But what’s bigger than Mothra? The chaos nears its conclusion!

Finally in part #5, “Makoto Sato’s Last Stand”, Carnage! Destruction! Revenge! Tokyo burns at the hands of the unstoppable villain, Takahashi. But don’t count out Detective Sato, who has a scheme so crazy it just might work… if he can get past a gaggle of giant monsters, that is! Things don’t wrap up any bigger than in this unforgettable conclusion!
