Godzilla: Legends is a comic book miniseries by IDW Publishing. Legends consists of five self-contained stories with different artists, writers, and colorists, each centering around one monster: Anguirus, Rodan, Titanosaurus, Hedorah, and Kumonga.

Story/Spoilers
In Issue #1C, The Legends begin here! Presenting the first of five spotlight issues, each of which explore a self-contained story centering on one of Godzilla’s fearsome foes! In this tale, drawn and co-written by Godzilla superstar artist Matt Frank, Anguirus, the armadillo-esque perpetual underdog, goes toe-to-toe with one of the most devastating monsters of all time-Destroyah! It’s a classic tale of David vs. Goliath… monster style!

Next in issue #2D, The spotlights on Godzilla’s greatest foes and allies continue! This issue focuses on the master of the skies- the mighty Rodan! When Rodan’s egg is stolen and kept at military research facility, the winged beast is tireless in its attempts to retrieve it. However, the human intrigue and betrayal inside the facility will ultimately hold the key to whether Rodan and child will be reunited again!

Next in issue #3D, It’s the next Legend focusing on Godzilla’s fearsome foes. This time Titanosaurus takes the spotlight!! A school for telepathically gifted children is opening and star pupil Tristan is wowing his teachers. However, when things start to go wrong for Tristan, his unusually strong connection to Titanosaurus could prove extremely dangerous- for himself and the entire city he lives in!

Next in issue #4D, An epic single-issue story shining a light on another terrifying Toho monster! This issue sees the debut of the one and only Smog Monster- Hedorah! G-Force is sent to battle the blob-like beast as it lays waste to China. But another monster’s presence might make this an even more chaotic conflict! Don’t miss the mayhem!”

Finally in issue #5D, The final Legend is here! Does Godzilla have a weakness? The government wants to know, and in order to get the necessary data, tissue samples must be taken from the great beast. The only way to get these samples. To Climb Godzilla! Renowned, retired adventurer Bryson Allworth is called in. Is he up to the herculean task? When another monster shows up to tumble, the task is only gonna get tougher! Don’t miss this special final issue to Legends!

All covers “seem” to form one giant panoramic Godzilla Legends cover, although issue #5 seems out of place. Interesting and awesome!! (See last scan)
