Story/Spoilers:
The Godzilla Valentine’s Day Special tells the story of Piper, a queer woman who decides to become a kaiju researcher after surviving an attack on Godzilla and getting fired from her data entry job. While checking out a Godzilla sighting in Singapore, she has a run-in with Lieutenant Sauveterre of the Earth Defense Force (EDF), a group that aims to protect humans from monsters. From there, a game of cat-and-mouse ensues with Piper and Lieutenant as they keep running into each other and eventually fall in love.
