Hal Jordan was one of the greatest Green Lanterns who ever lived, but do his darker deeds toward the end of his life resonate more powerfully than his heroism? This tale begins with Hal Jordan’s funeral and follows Tom Kalmaku, Hal’s mechanic and confidant through his career as the Green Lantern. Tom felt betrayed after Hal’s fall from grace, but is now left to deal with a young boy claiming to be Hal’s son. The boy also has a connection to one of the universe’s greatest powers, and that could be the reason a dark figure has come from outer space to make sure no descendant of Hal Jordan survives.
