Swamp Indigo… not a nice place to visit and no, you wouldn’t want to live there. Why? That’s the most asked question in town. You see, like many other towns, Swamp Indigo is FAMOUS for one thing… crime! Crime, its presence so dense that it takes the place of nitrogen in the atmosphere. It also leaves a distinct odor in the air, an odor that the team Hamster Vice has sworn to disinfect. Eh? Oh, Hamster Vice? Why they are only the most bizarre animal detectives to rise up against the “oversphere” of organized crime. They are a 3-man (er, animal) team that uses a combination of traditional crime-fighting methods with a dash of mystic illusionism… Hammy – Team Commander, Ben – Explosive Tech, & Wolph – Swordsmaster. They are… Hamster Vice.

Blackthorne Publishing presents another in its series of 3D comics, (#12 & 15) this one featuring a Three-Dimensional take on one of the more popular send-ups inspired by TMNT madness. It’s Dwayne Ferguson’s Hamster Vice. One of the more successful results of the Mutant Turtle-mania that swept indie comics in the 1980s, this is just what it sounds like: Rodent cops spoofing the successful mid-80s “Miami Vice” TV show. This Special 3D comic features the three-dimensional stories, Zombie Quest & Rumble Roach Lives Again!

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, ”Zombie Quest”, When college students accidentally awaken horrifying zombie worms during a shortcut through a cemetery, only the Hamster Vice squad can get them back in their graves.

Finally in issue #2, ”Rumble Roach Lives Again!”, The Hamsters first (and most dangerous) foe Rumble Roach returns, and this time he’s in 3D.
