The first part of Hellspock parodies the seemingly endless “Star Trek” franchise, knocking not only the melodrama aboard the starship Enterprise, but the actors’ efforts in the comic book world as well. The second half of the comic parodies the success of the successful Stormwatch series, knocking the title’s hyperkinetic art and love of spandex-clad beauties.

The parody crew of the Star Trek: Next Generation cast is traversing through a place where time and space intersects. They receive a visit from Hellspock and are terrified, so they run away at warp speed. Hellspock proceeds to have an existential crisis about his popularity and fame.

The bored Stoogewatch team finally receives a job. The mission is to retrieve a package marked with a X on it. They are incompetent and unable to complete this simple task, so they regroup at their home base. Suddenly, they receive a mysterious package. The contents are new suits, which they immediately don and become the “Swarmwatch”. They later, in their bee suits, have a confrontation with Dope and Nagger.
