Set in the world of Dominia, this series of adventures is set during a time in history when glaciers and snow covered most of the world. Closely tied to the release of the Ice Age expansion deck for Magic: The Gathering, which will be published by Wizards of the Coast early in 1995.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, “The Twilight Kingdom”, As an inexorable sheet of ice descends over the world of Dominaria, the five clans of King Miko’s empire realize that they are the last civilization left standing. Split into factions and stirred by the demon Tevesh Szat, some want to leave in a desperate bid to reach the world’s equator, while others want to stay and brae the oncoming cold. Contained in this issue are many of the spells, relics, and origins featured in the Magic: The Gathering – Ice Age Expansion coming this June from WotC. Featuring a painted cover by Val Mayerik, and a preview card from the Magic: The Gathering – Ice Age Expansion Deck Deck.

Next in issue #2, “The Frozen Dead”, Centuries after the fall of the Glacier Kingdom, the world of Dominaria has warmed to the point where a new and wondrous civilization has risen. The Knights of Kjeldor have set out to explore their world – and rid it of those who would use sorcery to keep it a frozen wasteland. Thisa is the story of one such order of knights, who now face their greatest enemy: the malevolent magus Lim-dul, who is using his vast power to raise an army of the undead to see to it that Kjeldor is crushed forever! “The Frozen Dead” has a painted cover by Charles Vess and includes a Magic: The Gathering – Ice Age Expansion Deck preview card.

Next in issue #3, “The Shard”, The secret behind the Ice Age that grips Dominaria is revealed in this spectacular issue: several powerful Planewalkers who have been trapped in “The Shard” converge on one of the planet’s two moons to determine the cause of this multi-planar cataclysm. As is bound to happen with Planewalkers, a duel of epic proportions breaks out, featuring spells from Antiquities, The Dark Fallen Empires, and Ice Age. This issue boasts a cover painting by Charles Vess, and a free set of Creature Tokens for use in your Magic: The Gathering game Duels.

Finally in issue #4, “Forever Silent the World”, The conflict between Tevesh Szat and the Carthalion family comes full circle. The Planewalker Freyalise calls upon Jason Carthalion’s great-grandson, a powerful Knight of Kjeldor, to journey to the forbidden ruins of the Glacier Kingdom to engage the demon in one final battle. Meanwhile, Freyalise recruits Sir Zaraya and the Druids of Fyndhorn to launch an epic campaign to end the Ice Age once and for all! Included in this issue are official Magic: The Gathering creature tokens for use in your Magic duels.
