After the Onslaught affair, everyone believed that Iron Man had been killed in battle. Having fought his way back from an alternate reality, the Armored Avenger is more than eager to get his life back. But, although the world has gotten used to super-powered beings returning from seeming death, the sudden reappearance of Iron Man’s alter ego, Tony Stark, is fraught with complications. For one thing, Tony had been legally declared dead, and for some reason just showing up doesn’t mean he’s not. And then there’s the little matter of Stark Industries, which was sold during his absence. So while things are fairly easy for Iron Man (after all, he’s got the armor so he must be the real thing…), Tony Stark finds himself having to make a new life for himself.

Back from the dead (again), Tony Stark’s rebuilding his corporation from the ground up – but enemies old and new remind him his work is never done! With romance, rivalry and robots to keep him busy, can Iron Man still help Avengers teammate Warbird in her match against Stark’s own worst enemy… the one in a bottle?

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1, One year ago the greatest heroes in the Marvel Universe, the Avengers and Fantastic Four, fought the mutant menace known as Onslaught and were sucked into an alternate universe. Now, they have returned. Tony Stark has a decision to make, wrest control of the Stark/Fujikawa corporation back from his partners or pursue other avenues of business. Meanwhile, a third party may make his mind up for him when they send the Deathsquad after him…
