Iron Men in Starktech armor are committing ethnic cleansing murders in the Eastern European nation of Transia. But matters of foreign policy are complicated, and the U.S. government won’t intervene. Shocked that his inventions are being put to such cruel ends, Tony Stark flies to Transia himself, determined to stop the atrocities… as Iron Man! Unbeknownst to Iron Man,… Dr. Doom – the super-villain monarch of Latveria, which shares a border with Transia – is involved.

All this sets the stage for a jaw-dropping, no-holds-barred, heavy-metal armored slugfest the likes of which you’ve never seen! When the mysterious source behind the Iron Men is revealed on the last page, you won’t believe your eyes…and neither will Tony!

Next in issue #3, Captured by his enemies, stripped of the Iron Man suit, Tony Stark seems helpless, the way he was back in that cave in Afghanistan all those years ago…but unlike that Tony, this Tony has been taught hand-to-hand combat by Captain America himself! Armor? We don’t need no stinking armor…But with an old foe hot on his tail, he might want to rig up a brand-new weapon – and fast!

Next in issue #4, Did we say ‘War of the Iron Men?’ We meant ‘World War of the Iron Men’! Russia and China have gotten involved and sent their own super-powered champions Titanium Man, Crimson Dynamo and Radioactive Man to bring Iron Man out of Transia — dead or alive! It’s all-out armored action, and whoever wins, turns out they lose: As the true Big Bad stands ready to swoop in and claim the spoils!

Next in issue #5, Iron Man vs. Doctor Doom, as you’ve never seen it before! ‘War of the Iron Men’ reaches its epic climax! Latveria invades Transia with a Doombot army, and Shellhead only has a hastily formed alliance with Radioactive Man and the Crimson Dynamo to defend against it! Tony Stark learns who betrayed the secrets of his armor to the Transians — and the revelation will change his life (and yours, we have no doubt) forever!

Next in issue #6, The second action-packed story arc begins here! Come back with us to a time when Tony Stark lost his company and his fortune to his greatest enemy, Obadiah Stane. Forced to rebuild a new company from scratch, Tony arrives in a run-down Los Angeles neighborhood and brings the people jobs, hope, and a new beginning — but unbeknownst to Tony, this district is under the iron thumb of the super-villain lords of L.A. — The Pride! The Runaways’ super-powered parents will do everything they can to destroy this new enterprise, but this is Tony Stark they’re messing with here. And he — and the people he’s inspired — won’t give up the streets without a fight!

Next in issue #7, ‘Industrial Revolution’ continues! The now-destitute Tony Stark begins his climb back to the top of the financial heap by bringing hope to Los Angeles’ impoverished Imperio neighborhood, but The Pride, secret masters of LA, just as desperately want to keep the people in chains. So they’ve hired the Serpent Society to kill Tony Stark at any cost, and it’s a duel to the death between Sidewinder and his squad of snaked-themed super villains! SSSSSS!

Next in issue #8, Caught between the Serpent Society on one side and The Pride on the other in his attempts to remake the impoverished Imperio neighborhood in Los Angeles, Tony Stark makes the daring move to take his case directly to the people themselves-but can anything make them stand up against the super villain masters of L.A.? One thing might, when Iron Man makes an appearance-except at the moment it’s Jim Rhodes under the golden mask, and he’s not too thrilled with what Tony is doing! Find out why here!

Next in issue #9, The residents of Imperio storm and occupy the factory Tony Stark needs to remake his fortune and prepare for a lengthy siege — but even with Jim Rhodes as Iron Man backing him up, can they withstand what The Pride can throw at them — everything from super powers to the bought-and-paid-for LAPD? Tony may have to call in some backup — from his allies in The Illuminati!

Next in issue #10, Before their children, the Runaways, became their greatest nemeses, the villainous Pride of Los Angeles faced their greatest threat when a destitute and penniless Tony Stark came to Los Angeles. Through cat’s-paws both super powered and mundane they tried to break him, but every attempt failed. But now they’ve made a mistake by kidnapping the person closest to him and sacrificing her to their dark masters, The Gibborim. Tony will do everything to get her back, including attacking The Pride on their own turf … with some surprise guest-stars in tow!!!

Finally in issue #11, Illuminati versus The Pride as ‘Industrial Revolution’ reaches its senses-shattering conclusion!… ‘Nuff Said!
