Eddie Neale had his future planned, shooting balls into the net for West Ham United F.C., but thanks to World War II, he’s shooting Nazis as an R.A.F. tail-gunner! Shot down, he finds himself captive in castle Lungotz Luftzig where he’ll face his biggest opposition yet… his own destiny!

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1Sub, With his plane shot down over Germany, Eddie is lucky to escape with his life, but his luck doesn’t hold when a Nazi patrol finds him and takes him to “Lungotz Luftzig”, a P.O.W Camp within the walls of a medieval castle, on the shores of a frozen lake. Once there, Eddie meets a sinister ‘SS’ officer Kommandant Von-Kleist, who locked him up in a cell, one with a view of an ancient bell-tower. It’s not long before unexplained incidents occur within the castle as fear spreads and the death count begins…

Next in issue #2Sub, With the help of two resourceful nuns, Eddie attempts to escape and swim for freedom, only to encounter a deadly horror in the ice-cold waters. Saved from a watery grave by a passing Nazi patrol boat, against all odds Eddie is somehow still alive, but now once more recaptured.

Next in issue #3Sub Something supernatural has been awakened and even Kommandant Von-Kleist cannot stop the fear spreading through the ranks of his men. Mother Superior’s next plan places Sister Evangeline in mortal danger. Eddie has been incarcerated in solitary confinement, and Evangeline is given the task to break into his cell and free him.

Finally in issue #4Sub Eddie Neale finally tastes freedom, at the sacrifice of Sister Evangeline. Will he escape the grip of Nazi tyranny at last, only to be trapped on a trajectory to fulfill an ancient prophecy? There’s no going back now! He may not be able to save himself, but if victorious… he might just save the world!
