Felix Leiter is a fictional character created by Ian Fleming in the James Bond books, films and other media. The character is an operative for the CIA and Bond’s friend. After losing a leg and his hand to a shark attack, Leiter joined the Pinkerton Detective Agency. The name “Felix” comes from the middle name of Fleming’s friend Ivar Bryce, while the name “Leiter” was the surname of Fleming’s friend Marion Oates Leiter Charles, the then wife of Thomas Leiter. Felix is a frequent character in all forms of James Bond media, so it is fitting that Dynamite Entertainment gives him his own spin-off mini-series.

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1A, James Bond spin-off highlighting 007’s American counterpart! Felix Leiter finds himself in Japan, tracking down a beautiful, Russian spy from his past. But when the mission takes a turn for the worse, he will discover that there are more deadly schemes afoot in Tokyo and beyond!

Next issue #2A, It was supposed to be an easy mission. Hot on the trail of a Russian agent in Tokyo, Felix Leiter is unwittingly drawn into the investigation of a major terrorist attack when a suicidal cultist releases a bio-weapon in Shinjuku. Now Felix and Tiger Tanaka – the Japanese James Bond – must track down the villainous cult leader responsible, and unravel the mystery behind their deadly new biological weapon…

Next in issue #3A, In the aftermath of a major terrorist attack in Tokyo by an Aum Shinrikyo-like cult, Felix Leiter finds himself unwittingly drawn into the investigation. And under the oversight of Tiger Tanaka – the Japanese James Bond – and with a squad of Tanaka’s elite operatives, Leiter himself helps to bring down the cult’s leader! But now it’s up to Leiter and Tanaka to work desperately against the clock: they must discover the secret of the cultist’s deadly bio-weapon – especially if they’re going to try and avert another terrorist attack!

Next in issue #5A, Tiger Tanaka and Felix were pursuing the terrorists responsible for the detonation of a new, mysterious biological weapon – when a follow-up incident at Tanaka’s organizational headquarters cost them the rest of their team and resources. Now they’ve made things personal! Felix and Tanaka must take down a North Korean operative with information on the bio-bomb inside his heavily-guarded compound…before anyone else comes to harm!

Finally in issue #6A, The thrilling series conclusion! Tiger and Felix have cornered their prey, the North Korean agent responsible for the bio-weapons – but Alena Davoff, Felix’s former lover, is still at large, and Felix is dead-set on investigating! He must figure out if Alena is still working for her former Russian handlers… or if she’s gone rogue?
