James Bond 007, also informally known as The Odd Job Epic, was yet another addition to the Dynamite James Bond comic universe. It was written by American writer Greg Pak, and illustrated by comic book artists Marc Laming, Stephen Mooney, Eric Gapstur and Robert Carey. The storyline features Auric Goldfinger and Oddjob, both classic characters that go way back in the James Bond legacy.

Story/Spoilers
In part #1, Agent 007 tracks a smuggler into Singapore to secure a dangerous case, contents unknown. But a Korean mystery man wants the case as well, for very different reasons. And if Bond and this new rival don’t kill each other, the ruthless terrorist organization known as ORU will be more than happy to finish the job.

Next in part #2, Somewhere in the world, a smuggler is trying to deliver a mysterious briefcase to the world’s most deadly terrorists. 007 must get this case and is licensed to kill anyone that gets in his way. This is the story of the man who gets in his way.

Next in part #3, Northern Australia: Agent 007 infiltrates an illegal outpost, to prevent a uranium dealer’s negotiations with terrorists. Or, that would be his mission, if not for the interference of a (seemingly ever-present) Korean secret agent. Will James Bond stay on target, or will his fury towards John Lee overtake his priorities?

Next in part #4, MI6 Agent 007 and Korean operative John Lee have been forced by their governments to join forces to secure a dangerous case that may contain nuclear materials. But their current mission requires them to practice patience, guile, and possibly…singing.

Next in part #5, 007: Arrested! John Lee: Saving the world, solo! But when the time comes, will Lee be able to pull the trigger, or will his love for the mind-controlled Agent K prevent him from stopping her terrorist organization from succeeding in their world-altering endgame?

Finally in part #6, Secrets are revealed, allegiances confirmed. Bond and Oddjob learn the awful truth of the terrorist organization ORU, and how they’re helpless to prevent the destruction of global infrastructure as we know it…
