James Bond is in pursuit of a man named Winstone, who has ties to SPECTRE. In his desperation to get away from 007 he inadvertently perishes, leaving Bond to recover the documents in Winstone’s briefcase and deliver them to M. They learn that SPECTRE’s Number One was to be meeting numerous guests in Paris, including their mole within MI6. They believe Number One is a man named Ernst Stavro Blofeld and M dispatches 007 to retrieve the mole if possible and use his licence to kill if need be on Blofeld…

Story/Spoilers
In issue #1A, There’s a civil war brewing within SPECTRE. An upstart American member of the international criminal organization is attempting a coup, threatening to depose Ernst Stavro Blofeld. She’s on guard against Blofeld’s men, so to take her out, Blofeld recruits a wild card – James Bond! With Blofeld threatening the life of Bond’s friend Felix Leiter as leverage, Bond agrees… but he has a plan to use this internal strife to bring SPECTRE down once and for all. Will he succeed, or is this a dark path from which even 007 can’t return?

Next in issue #2A, James Bond is in the USA… but not as part of Her Majesty’s Secret Service. Shockingly, he’s there as an Agent of SPECTRE, sent to eliminate an upstart rival SPECTRE boss at the bidding of Ernest Blofeld himself! The leverage Blofeld has against Bond is a threat to the life of his one of the few people in the world Bond can trust… but that friend may have the interests of Bond’s target as the higher priority!

Next in issue #3A, As Bond struggles with the fallout of recent events, all bets are off. Double and triple crosses and being in bed with the enemy – sometimes literally – are the order of the day. Has Bond truly become no different than the members of SPECTRE he is now working for, or does he have a master plan that can work against impossible odds?

Next in issue #4A, It’s all-out action in Athens, Greece as Bond and Blofeld’s tenuous alliance is tested under fire! Can they survive the mountainside attack by upstart SPECTRE member Titania Jones…and can they survive each other?

Finally in issue #5A, The SPECTRE Civil War reaches its explosive conclusion! Who will come out on top, the established Ernst Stavro Blofeld or the upstart Titania Jones? Either way, will James Bond – and the world – survive? Can 007 use this war to bring SPECTRE down from within… or will he end up just one more casualty?
