The comic sequel to the 2001 Jason X Movie… Jason Voorhees continues his murderous rampage in Outer-Space!

Jason X is a 2001 American science fiction slasher film produced and directed by James Isaac. It is the tenth installment in the Friday the 13th film series. The year is 2455. The Earth is a desolate wasteland after a huge environmental disaster left the planet unsuitable for life. Humans escaped to the stars and flourished. Now, a team of student researchers have returned to study artifacts from a lost research facility at Crystal Lake. Their excavation uncovers two cryogenically frozen humans. The researchers take the frozen individuals back to their space craft and unintentionally start the reanimation process. One of these “ancestors” is a beautiful woman, while the other one is none other than Jason Voorhees. It doesn’t take long for Jason Voorhees to continue his murderous ways. It also introduces his futuristic counterpart, Uber Jason.

Now, Avatar Press continues the carnage in the Jason X Special – which picks up where the 2001 movie left off.

Story/Spoilers
On Earth II, a pair of teenagers beside a lake see what they believe is a falling star as Jason’s charred body hits a lake. The teenagers go to investigate. And end up getting killed while having sex at the impact site. Uber Jason lives. Set in 2455, UberJason is brought to Earth II. Kristen, a bioengineer, needs tissue samples from UberJason in the hopes that his regenerative abilities can save her and her loved ones. She is convinced she can contain his rage. Big mistake. Uber Jason unleashes a torrent of high-tech terror and gore!
